Quick Guidelines

FOR BUYERS: HOW TO BUY

As a buyer, there are different ways to source and to buy at Trademine.

OPTION 1: POST A BUYING LEAD

Buying leads are postings regarding products and/or services that you are looking for. This allows sellers to contact you, along with their quotations and offers.

Log into your account and click “Member Area”. Look for Add New Buying Lead.

You can then fill out the form which is composed of 4 steps. Enter as many details as you can such as a detailed description, upload a similar photo, expected quantity, specification, packaging, shipping details and information to receive more targeted quotations from suppliers.

OPTION 2: SEARCH PRODUCTS

At Trademine's Homepage, you can search for products/companies/selling leads by typing keywords at the bar. From there, you can also use the Advance Search option for more targeted results. Click on the result tab and choose from Companies, Selling Leads and Products. The search results will give you an option to directly contact the seller.

In contacting suppliers, we suggest that your contact form include the following details: self-introduction, exact product specifications of what you are looking for, minimum order quantity, price inquiry, delivery/shipping expectations. In including this information, you can have better quotations and faster replies from suppliers.

OPTION 3: SEARCH SELLING LEADS

Searching through the Selling Leads Postings is a great way to look for specific sellers. Sellers post specific products/offers that they are selling: this allows buyers to directly contact them and send inquiries. You can also search through the Selling Leads by typing keywords on our Search Bar.

On Trademine's Homepage, click “Selling Leads”, located on the main navigation bar to scan through Selling Lead Postings. If you would like to look for particular Selling Leads related to what you are looking for, you can type keywords on our Search Bar and click on “List of Selling Leads” on the result page.

When you find a particular Selling Lead, you can click on Inquire Now or the Contact Seller Button to send your inquiries. You can click on the product OR click More Details located on the bottom of the listing to see more information regarding the Selling Lead. You can also click on the Company Name to see the company profile of the seller. We encourage buyers to introduce themselves, send a clear inquiry message or offer to have faster replies from sellers.

OPTION 4: SEARCH COMPANIES

Searching through our directory of companies is helpful for buyers looking for companies who have the product they are looking for. There are two ways to do this: through Trademine's basic Search/Suppliers bar OR through Trademine's Biz Directory.

>Trademine's Search/Suppliers Bar

Searching through the Search/Suppliers Bar is a great way to look for all of the companies that are members in the website. On Trademine's Homepage, you can type keywords of the products you are looking for. On the Search Results, you can click on “List of Companies”. You can also click on Suppliers located on the main navigation bar to scan through our list of suppliers.

On the Search Results, you can click on Homepage or Company Profile on the bottom of the listing to see more information regarding the company.

>Trademine's Biz Directory

Our Biz Directory consists of Companies, Selling/Buying Leads from Paid Members of the website. On the Homepage, you can click on Biz Directory located on the main navigation bar and choose accordingly.

You can scan through our certified members in our Biz Directory. By clicking Homepage or Company Profile at the bottom of listings, you can see more details and information regarding the company.

FOR SELLERS: HOW TO SELL

As a seller, there are many ways to showcase your company and your products at Trademine.

OPTION 1: POST A SELLING LEAD

Selling leads are postings regarding products and/or services that companies are offering. This allows interested buyers to directly contact you and inquire more about your products which can lead to a transaction.

Log into your account and click “Member Area”. Look for Add New Selling Lead.

You can then fill out the form which is composed of 5 steps. Enter as many details as you can such as a detailed description, upload product photos, minimum order quantity, specification, material, country of origin, packaging, shipping details and information to receive more targeted inquiry from buyers. We advise sellers to be flexible on their offers to have more selling opportunities from buyers.

OPTION 2: POST PRODUCTS

Sellers are encouraged to post their products on their company profile. This allows buyers to see the products/services you offer on your Trademine's online store page.

Log into your account and click “Member Area”. Look for Add New Product.

You can then fill out the form which is composed of 6 steps. Enter as many details as you can such as a detailed description, upload product photos, minimum order quantity, specification, material, country of origin, packaging, shipping details and information to receive more targeted inquiry from buyers. We advise sellers to be flexible on their offers to have more selling opportunities from buyers. Please clearly state your company’s Terms and Policy and Return Policy so buyers are aware before starting a transaction.

OPTION 3: SEARCH BUYING LEADS

Searching through the Buying Leads Postings is a great way to look for specific buyers. Buyers post specific products that they are looking for: this allows sellers to directly contact them and send quotations. You can also search through the Buying Leads by typing keywords on our Search Bar.

On Trademine's Homepage, click “Buying Leads”, located on the main navigation bar to scan through the Buying Lead Postings. If you would like to look for particular Buying Leads related to your products, you can type keywords on our Search Bar and click on “List of Buying Leads” on the result page.

When you find a particular Buying Lead, you can click on Inquire Now or the Contact Seller Button to send your inquiry or quotation. You can click on the product OR click More Details located on the bottom of the listing to see more information regarding the Buying Lead. You can also click on the Company Name to see the company profile of the buyer. We encourage sellers to introduce themselves, send quotations and offers to have faster replies from buyers.

OPTION 4: ADVERTISE

Advertising Services in Trademine's website is available. Your company profile or products can be advertised on pages within the website which can be seen by people browsing through our site. If you are interested, please Contact Us for inquiries.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Trademine provides buyers a sleek and easy way to pay for items through our Shopping Cart. From there, buyers can pay for their items or orders according to the seller’s payment preference.

Step 1:

When you have chosen the product, click on the Add to Cart button. You can either continue shopping and your items will be saved on the Virtual Shopping Cart or go to Checkout (shown on Step 2) if you are done shopping.

Step 2:

When you are done shopping, you can click on Shopping Cart, located on the left side of your screen. You can then click Checkout on the Shopping Cart pop-out window.

Step 3:

Another window will appear where you can review your items. You can change the quantity of each item, you can remove an item or you can cancel the whole shopping cart. If done, click on the Order Now button.

Step 4:

On this step, your Ordered Invoice Information appears. A copy will also be sent to your email. At the bottom, you can check your personal information such as your name, company name and address. If you are not a member of Trademine, you can register as a buyer to purchase the items. When done, click the Checkout button.

Step 5:

On this procedure, it will allow you to pay for the item by choosing the payment method. It also shows you more information regarding your order such as the invoice number, date and total amount paid. A copy of the invoice is sent to your email and a copy is also available in your Trademine Member Area. This page also allows you to print the invoice for your records, a Print Button is available at the very end of the screen. Any unpaid invoices can be paid in the future by going to your Invoice tab on your prothis procedure is shown in Step 6).

Step 6: LOCATING UNPAID INVOICES

Locating Unpaid Invoices can be done by going to your Member Area profile. On the left corner of your screen, click the Premium Control Panel button.

A new window will appear. On the left side tab, click on Invoice then Manage Invoice to show your invoice history. There is also an Invoice button located on the home screen:

You can then check which invoice you want to pay by clicking on the green avatar:

The invoice will then appear and you can pay your item/order by choosing the Payment Gateway available as per the seller. Your status will then change from Unpaid to Paid. You will receive an email for your records as a proof of your payment.

SHIPPING TERMS

Definition of Shipping Terms:

FOB – Free On Board . The buyer pays for the transportation of the goods, insurance and freight included. The ownership of the goods is transferred to the buyer as soon as the carrier accepts the goods from the seller.

CIF – Cost, Insurance and Freight . The seller must pay the costs and freight, includes insurance to bring the goods to the port destination. The risk is transferred to the buyer once the goods are loaded on the ship. The seller provides the buyer the necessary documents to obtain the goods from the carrier.

CNF – Cost and Freight. The seller pays for the freight and cost to the designated port. It means that the seller pays for transportation to the Port of Loading (POL), loading and freight. The buyer pays for the insurance and transportation of the goods from the Port of Discharge (POD) to his factory.

CAD – Cash Against Documents . The buyer must pay the seller before he/she gets the shipping papers. The transaction usually involves a third party, which keeps the shipping papers until it receives a payment from the buyer.

NOTE TO SELLERS: Please clearly state the shipping terms on your products upon listing a product or a buying lead.

NOTE TO BUYERS: Please read Sellers’ shipping terms before proceeding on a transaction. We recommend sending the Seller a message to clarify before paying.

PAYMENT TERMS

T/T – Telegraphic Transfer . It simply means Wire Transfer.

L/C – Letter of Credit . A letter from a bank guaranteeing that a buyer’s payment to a seller will be received on time with the correct amount. In the event that the buyer is unable to make payment on the purchase, the bank will be required to cover the full or remaining amount of the purchase.

D/A – Documents Against Acceptance . An arrangement in which the seller instructs a bank to hand over shipping and title documents to the buyer only of the buyer accepts the accompanying bill of exchange or draft by signing it. The documents required to take possession of the goods are released by the clearing bank only after the buyer accepts a time draft drawn upon him.

D/P – Documents Against Payment . The buyer has to settle the payment with the bank before the documents are released and he can take delivery of the goods.

Western Union – Payment through Western Union. Ask seller for details.

Money Gram – Payment through Money Gram. Ask seller for details.

PayPal – Payment through PayPal. Ask seller for details.

Cash / Cheque – Payment through Cash or Cheque. Ask seller for details.

Other – According to the seller’s preference. Ask seller for details.

NOTE TO SELLERS: Please clearly state the payment terms on your products upon listing a product or a buying lead.

NOTE TO BUYERS: Please read Sellers’ payment terms before proceeding on a transaction. We recommend sending the Seller a message to clarify before paying.
